Well a new continent, a new diet. More about that later.

We have finally left the UK on our return leg of the tour. We touched down in smoggy San Paulo, ready for the plane to be refuelled before heading on to Buenos Aires. However we noticed that not all was right. The airline staff were asking people in Business Class questions and they were getting off the plane. Interesting. Eventually we were told the remainder of the flight had been cancelled due to a strike in the Buenos Aires airport. A local behind us, said "Welcome to South America".

British Airways transferred us to a 5 star hotel in San Paulo for a few days, until we could get the next available flight to continue our journey.

We weren´t complaining as it was all at BA´s expense and we proceeded to eat a thousand dollars worth of food in 3 days in the hotel.
