After 3 1/2 month traveling together with my friend Benjamin, I flew now alone to Brazil to see some of my friends again (like in Mexico), that I met 2 years ago in Vancouver. When I arrived at the airport in Sao Paulo, Camila my cute brazilian friend + 2 other friends of her picked me up and we drove to her home. There I lived for around 3 weeks together with a very nice, friendly family that don´t speak English at all (except one sister). Can you imagine how funny it was to "talk" with Camilas mother at breakfast, when Camila was already at work. Nobody could translate what I wanted to say. Our next stop was Florianopolis, 15 hours south on the coast and the most expensive bus journey we have been on for 30 pound. To top it off the bus was shit and as Michelle said must have been made for Eskimo midgets! No leg room and the bus was freezing! Lucky for us the bus changed after about 10 hours and we managed to get some sleep for the last 5. We finally arrived but still a bit half a sleep so was very grateful when a local came over offering us an apartment on Santa Catalina for 12 pound a night. It turned out to be a right bargain and just reminded me of something you would get on one of the Greek Islands on your 2 weeks holidays! It had a great kitchen ... read more

I am in Sao Paolo, Brazil, counting down my last week of my trip. I would probably forget that but Alexis keeps reminding me how many days there are left and we have started getting up early (hmmm...10, 11 am) to execute mini itineries of stuff to see in the various places we speed through, feeling the time slipping away. Last time I wrote my blog, 31 August or there abouts, I was enjoying hanging about in Buenos Aires, which turned from a couple of days to one week. Since then we travelled by ferry over the Rio de la Plata to Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay, on to Montevideo, a day in the country at an estancia, crossed to Florianopolis in Brazil, loafed for a couple of days on Ihla de Santa Catarina, bussed it to ... read more

Depois de muitas incertezas, finalmente tudo certo! Visto americano concedido...tudo certo....e agora o país de embarque finalmente certo...VENEZA!!! Estarei embarcando dia 23 de agosto para lá e no dia 25 embarco no Splendour of The seas..muito chatos os lugares por onde vou passar....rs GREECE, MORROCO, TURKEY, SPAIN, ITALY, CROATIA, PORTUGAL, TUNISIA, GIBRALTAR, UNITED KINGDON!!!!!!!
