World Cup - Belguim vs South Korea

The game was only at 5pm but we decided to arrive at the stadium as early as possible to avoid the overcrowded trains. There is a huge shopping centre across the road from Itaquera station, which is oposite the stadium. This is where we decided to have a meal before the game. Many spectators had the same idea, but at least we avoided the Majority of the crowd. We had a meal and then at 4pm headed toward the stadium for a 5pm kick off. The atmosphere was a jovial one an there were many neutrals on the crowd that added to the atmosphere. Most of the neutrals like us wanted Korea to win, but it was not to be. The game ended with Belguim the victors. On the way home we again decided to seek refuge at the shopping centre to avoid the majority of the crowd. The trip home was peaceful.
