Hello,

Travelling up north means that we approach the equator again, weatherconditions are improving and we are glad this is springtime and not full summer. We have been exploring the Praia do Pipa, a nice beach in Tibau do Sul, walking around on the beach almost alone, or trying to spot dolphins in the sea at low tide with a lot of spectators, or looking around in little shops on mainstreet. In this region you find many shrimpfarms, and we can say they taste really good. Tonight we continu to Fortalessa with a nightbus.

Hoe meer we naar het noorden reizen en we de evenaar naderen, hoe warmer het wordt. We zijn blij dat het hier lente is en nog geen zomer, het is hier voor ons al meer dan warm genoeg. We zijn aanbeland in het kustplaatsje Pipa, uitgestrekte witte stranden, waar haast niemand is, dolfijntjes kijken vanop het strand bij laagtij of gewoon rondkuieren in de straatjes met de vele restaurantjes en winkeltjes. De specialiteit hier zijn scampi's, en we moeten zeggen , ze zijn overheerlijk. Moest Barbara hier zijn ze zou zeker aan haar lip likken. We zijn nu aan het wachten op de nachtbus naar onze volgende bestemming.
