Recife
Another little carnivalWe arrived in Recife just in time for another little carnival which was pretty cool. We stayed in Piratas da Praia Hostel which was OK, we met a few cool people there and partied with them, but generally, backpackers were mainly staying in nearby Olinda.
Tuesday night was quite good as we went into town for Black Tuesday! Everyone congragates around this square with live music, afro drumming, people dancing in the streets and capoiera shows - it was pretty cool.
While in Recife we managed to get a day trip in, to Porto de Galinhas which was another amazing beach. The beaches in Recife itself were OK if you don´t mind sharks!
