brasil!!

right, i hope this blog works and that i start writing it more often! brasil was good, somehow we completely avoided carnaval and it was really quiet on the little island we went to for a few days (it rained, looked like the isle of white at times!) but managed to get some tanning done and got to know the other girls really well and ate amazingly well, fish rice salad and beans - soooo good, like a detox but actually enjoyable!! we didnt get up to much, walked around this tiny island, decided my backpack was unnecessarily heavy and regretted the 12 tops when it was 40 degrees and i had to carry it for 2kms (no cars on the island!). so ilha do mel was v.good, jsut about worth the two days of travelling on hot sticky buses that it took to get there!its actually quite expensive where we were in brasil so looking forward to being in paraguay and getting started on the placement.XX
