The brazilian side
After an interesting bus journey with four Ozzie chicks and a crazy Brazilian teenager, we arrived in Foz do Iguacu at 8.30am. We checked in the Paudimar Falls hostel at 10.30 as the bus driver forgot to stop at our stop and carried on going towards the airport! Even the Ozzie chicks got there before us. Had a quick breakfast and jumped on the bus to the Brazilian side of the waterfalls. Stunning views, we even did the mini safari and boat trip, but personally thought it was a waste of money as the boat trip on the Argentinian side is 10 times better. We were basically conned by Uncle Louie (the tour organiser at the hostel).
The hostel itself was pretty cool, nice swimming pool and seeing as I actually stayed in this this hostel a few years ago, the owner Paulo was so happy we came back, he gave us free caparinhas and beers. In the evening me, Boucs, the Ozzie girls and Uncle Louie went to this restaurant which was really nice, but a steak dinner for 2 and a chicken dinner in the middle wasn´t enough for me and Boucs, so after a few drinks we decided

to get a McDonalds on the way home - Uncle Louie saw us walking into the hostel with it and couldn´t believe his eyes!

The following day we booked the trip to the Argentinian side with the hostel which is no doubt the best side. The Ozzie girls came with us which was interesting. We saw Devils Throat which was amazing, then before we done the mini trek to the waterfalls we all decided to go to the Parrilla for lunch! Absolutely loads of georgous grilled meats and all you can eat buffet consisting of salads, lasagnes, desserts, everything really. Not sure which was more impressive, the food itself or the fact that these girls could put their food away to our standards - I think one them actually managed to eat me under the table!
