I spent the day hiking through the mountains of Chapada dos Guimaraes with the sun at my back and was rewarded with stunning views of the many waterfalls! Chapada dos Guimaraes is about 60 km outside of Cuiaba and is known for its beautiful valleys and gorgeous waterfalls. Unfortunately, my guide only spoke Portugues and a bit of Spanish and English. I guess there isn't much that needs to be said when you are faced with the obvious beauty of your surroundings.

Travelin circus

I've been addicted to traveling for as long as I can remember. 2007 was the year of travel for me! In June, I embarked on an 8-month journey through Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Morocco, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and India. After living in India for 2 years, I'm now back in San Francisco.
