Floating Islands, Silver Mines and Salt flats in Bolivia

Hi everyone,

I´m a bit late on my blogging, so here’s a resume of some of the last weeks traveling. After Cuzco we traveled to Puno where we visited Lake Titicaca the highest navigable lake in the world, famous for its floating Uros Islands.

We then entered Bolivia and passed through La Paz to Potosi where we visited the once world's largest silver mine. finally we headed to Chile while visiting the Uyuni Salt Flats as well as Sol de Mañana, Rock Valley and various lagoons.... phew!

The whole region around Uyuni was absolutely fantastic, one of the wonders of South America
