100 diena !! kovo 6 d. ... read more

well Friday came around like it usually does and Kevin invited Caroline and I to go to Elisa's graduation and go to her house after for some drinks. It was my final Amoeba pill and considering I was feeling alright I decided to go. Kevin and I met up with Caroline after school and we went downtown looking for a gift. We first hit Heroinas street which had this one particular isle called Hippie isle. Caroline knew a particular jewlry shop that would have something for Kevin to buy for Elisa and it was the first time I had been near this shop. I had been in this Hippie Isle before but failed to notice the extensive amount of jewlry there. Well after some searching and Kevin failing to listen to my recommendations he decided to ... read more

What is your religion? she asked. This was either the silliest pick-up line I have ever heard or the most shocking introduction ever. When I had first seen the two girls, I thought that they were prostitutes. Two hotties dressed like they were out to party, wearing full make-up in a dead-end town with nothing but soldiers around...and I was dining at the Military Casino. Dear Wilma and Maria will have to forgive me for not instantly realizing they were doing their utmost to promote Herbalife products. I switched on the T.V. in my room only to find exactly what I had expected. You've heard of a one horse kind of town, well San Jose de Chiquitos was a two T.V. channel receiving kind of town. Around the plaza, the streets were being cobbled for the ... read more

Wow what an adventure I’ve been having. At this moment I am in a sleepy little town called San Jose de Chiquitos, on the Jesuit missions circuit in the lowlands of Bolivia. I arrived last night from San Ignacio and have spent hours today just sitting in the plaza waiting for the internet café to open. There really isn’t much to do here and I have another 8hrs until my train leaves from Santa Cruz. I already checked out the church, bought my train ticket and walked round most of the village which took me all of half an hour. Bolivia really is a country of two completely different halves. The people and landscapes in the altiplano are nothing like down here. They are shy and reserved up there, I guess it’s a hard life, while ... read more
