Heya everyone !
So I have finally left the crap Internet signal and arrived here in sucre!
I finished my trip in potosI by going down a working Bolvian mine. It was amazing, for some reason I thought it would be an old mine that wasn't used however it was quite the opposite! We got to see all the men at work and also got to see them loading some dinomite into the wall and then movingblack to hear and feel it! Got somevideos but they wOnt upload onto my blog from my phone. The conditions were awful that they living and at some points only the little ones - like me!! Couldgift through the holes to get to the other mines!
After leaving the mine we had a last night in potosi as then headed 3 hours down the road to my current stop sucre! Lovely little town, all though there is a lot of begging and poor people in bolvia in a sad way you accept it and although it would be lovely to give to them you can't as they just come back for more spite this I still feel very safe in bolvia and
they like a English smile here 😉 I even got a white rose delivered to my room today - not sure if it's my group playing a joke or what!
Anyway so back to the trip the bus journey was easy as we normally had to be on a bus for over 10 hours. When we arrived here we wondered to the view point at the top of the town for sunset to take pictures and also brought abeautiful braclet from a street seller who makes all his own jewellary. After a nice meal we called it a night. Today we went I a local market which was fab until I tried to take a picture and a local lady threw a piece of banana at me :/ they don't like having there photo taken here and I did try to explain it was a general phobuying the whole market but once I saw her face yelleped and ran behind the rest of the group! Anyway still had lots of opportunities to buy lots of authentic hand made bits and a special present for my god son - if his mummy is reading ! The weather for me has
been warm like mid 20s but I'm still the only one wearing shorts -typicallyBritish! Tonight has been the first night whecould havnt felt sick and could enjoy my Mexican meal andcocktailswithout rbacking back to the hotel to have an early night!
Hope you enjoy the pictures ,quadbiking tomorrow so will put some pictures up then.
Thank you all for the little boosts of confidence when I was feeling home sc during the horriblely cold salt flats really put a smile on my face! Was also lovely being able to speak to mum and dad today and looking forward to having a catch up with some of my girlies tomorrow and Thursday! Also mum point out I'm really sorry I do know that chillie is spelt wrong along with a few other works but the predictive texmuon my phonedoesn't allow me to change words and I don't want towaste precisious time online when I could be talkibg to you all!
