Tom got a big surprise when he caught this curious, little Vicuña sniffing his butt while he was fixing the car-door. After its mother died given birth to it, the family here took her in and domesticated her. Vicuñas are generally very shy and will not let you within 30 feet of them.

I'm sorry you had such a rough time but am happy to get a good chuckle out of your story. I guess all the bad stories about drunk guides in the Salares are true!
