Potosi a jeho kostoly/ Potosi and its churches

Na dnesok sme sa rozhodli prejst si poriadne samotne centrum Potosi, to je zname hlavne svojimi kostoly. Tych je tu, na pomer k velkosti mesta, naozaj vela a boli postavene v casoch najvacsej slavy Potosi, hoci pre nestastnikov pracujucich tu to asi prilis slavne nebolo. Celkovo sa nam ich podarilo obist 11 + 1 katedrala. Este sa nam podarilo stihnut navstevu znameho muzea Casa Real de la Moneda, v budove ktorej v minulosti sidlili jedna z dvoch miestnych mincovni. Cast muzea bola venovana prave razeniu minci a praci v bani, zvysok bol taky mix vselicoho, napriklad mumie malych deti - pomerne neprijemny pohlad. Este nam ostavalo par hodin a tak sme si nakupili par suvenirov na pamiatku. A to bolo vsetko, potom ostaval len cas na vyzdvihnutie si veci z nasho hotela a odchod na autobusovu stanicu. Tu sme si kupili listky na nocny autobus do Tupizi a uz v autobuse skusili pospat si aspon trochu.


For today we decided to see properly the centrum of Potosi, which is famous mostly for its churches. There are plenty of them, to compare to the size of the town and they were built when Potosi was doing great, although not such a great time for people working here. Altoghether we managed to see 11 of them + 1 catedral. We also had time to visit famous musem Casa Real de la Moneda, in this huge complex of buildings used to be one of the two local mints. Part of the museum was dedicated to the minting and working in mines and the rest of a mix of everything, for example mummies of little children - quite freaky to be honest. We still had a couple of hours to kill so we bought some souvenirs. And that was it, after that we had just time to collect our rucksacks and go to a bus station. Here, we bought a ticket for a night bus to Tupiza, and once on the bus tried to sleep a bit.
