Boys weekend!!

well I left Argentina with a bang! I tagged along with Joaquin and his Football team up to Santa Fe for the weekend where they had a couple of games lined up for Sunday against other social teams they'd met on the internet... what a riot! we all crashed at Joaco's parents Quinta(farmy sort of holiday home), and pretty much drank non stop from as soon as we got there untill it was time to get up and play football on Sunday morning. the poor fallas. I dont know how they did it, it was hard enough for me and Colo to find enough energy to sleep on the sideline let alone run around for a couple of hours. I must be getting old. all good times though, they were a great buch of guys and we had a lot of fun. Went to town both Friday and Saturday nights and got home at about 8 the next moring both times. they are all a bunch of story tellers too so I enjoyed just sitting there and doing by best to understand them while gave eachother crap. time to go though, 16hr bus ride to Brasil anyone? Doh!

this guy was clasic! tells the best stories and so funny!!

Augostine got slammed
this guy is getting married soon so this weekend was kind of his Bachelour party too and he got payed out!

Milanesa!!
they all called for Milanesa, which is a type of meat here that comes a bit like a crumbed snitchel

big ass jug of Fernet
they drink this stuff from Italy, mix it up with coke and lots of ice and pass it around. it's really social and does the damage really quick

then back into town
thats Pendejo in the middle, Joaquins 15yr old brother who we smuggled into the club

old mates
we met these girls like 2years ago last time we were in Santa Fe so it was real cool when we bumped into them again in the club

russ, your last dozen or so blogs have just seemed to have revolved around drinking alcohol...do something interesting po! And I mean that in a loving brotherly type of way....XD
