primera vez una parrillada Argentina pero Made in Spain, je, je.
Hi again everybody. After Sanatiago we headed southwards, specifically to Puerto Mont, where we met with Coro and Patxi (Aimar´s parents who were travelling around Chile but from south to north). On the following day we travelled all together a bit farther to the south, to a place called Chiloe island. We had a great time in Chiloe. We were firstly in one of the most important cities in Chiloe, Castro, where we had an interesting experience on a rowing boat (you´ll see what we mean on the photos...) and we visitied the Chiloe national park, where we were riddled revengefully by horseflies. Chiloe has a beautifull scenery but it hasn´t been well developed for tourism. Our first idea was to take a ferry to the south of Chile and to travell to Argentina from there but due to the fact that we had to wait for several days on Chiloe to take the ferry we decided to change our plans and head back to Puerto Mont and from
Con las ramitas protegiendonos de los endiablados Tabanos de la isla there a bit northward to Ossorno and from there we crossed the border with Argentina and we ended up in a place called Bariloche. We camped here and we had our first Argentine barbacue experience but made in Spain. Bariloche is a beautifull place on the north of the argentine Patagony very similar scenrywise to Swizerland. And in fact it was once occupied by swiss settlers. After spending two beautifull and relaxed days in Bariloche we decided to do our longest bus trip up to today, 36 hours on a bus crossing the Patagony from North to South (including two nights slepping on the bus) up to a small Patagonic village called El Calafate. Very close by we visited one of the most beautifull natural wonders we have ever seen in our lifes, El Perito Moreno glacier. A hughe mass of ice which slowly advances 2 meters a day and at its border, where it meets the water, it lets incredible pieces of ice leave its body. Something out of this world!!!. From El Calafate we headed southeastwards, to the furthest place in the south we have ever been, Rio Gallegos, an ugly city but never mind, we reached the
south of the south. So after 3 days sleepping in buses and after having travelled a distance equal to Madrid-Moscu and back, we decided to head northward, to a city called Bahia Blanca where a hot meal and a comfortable bed was waiting for us in Aimar´s argentine family house. So in this way we ended up one of our most tiring but at the same time one of our most amazing odysseis up to the date...Lost in The Patagony.

Besazos
