Feb 4 – Tucuman-Salta

Dernier bus du périple à 2h30, arrivée à Salta à 7h, ENFIN ! J’ai toute la journée devant moi, cool, mais il est un peu tôt quand même, donc je fais une petite sieste à l’auberge. Puis balade dans le centre où je retrouve par hasard dans une boutique des italiens qui étaient avec moi à l’auberge de San Ignacio quelques jours auparavant ! Empenadas typiques dans le marché central puis comme tous les musées sont fermés le lundi, nous partons faire une balade (sportive) dans la cosan Bernardo)lline en face, 1021 marches à grimper pour avoir la vue sur la ville (aussi appelé chemin de croix de San Bernardo !) . En tout cas il fait carrément moins chaud qu’ailleurs et ça fait du bien de se dépenser après toutes ces heures dans le bus

Demain, petite excursion à Cafayate, site accroché à la montagne, entouré de vignobles

Last part of this journey starts at 2:30 am. FINALLY, we arrive at Salta at 7 am. A full day to do anything but staying seated! Too early though, I’m ready to go after a nap in the hostel. Then walk in the city centre where I meet by chance 3 Italian people who were staying as the same hostel as me in San Ignacio! Typical empenadas for lunch in the market. All museums are closed on Mondays, so we go climbing up a hill at the border of the city, 1021 steps in the forest to go to benefit the point of view (or alternatively, you could take the cable car, as many Argentinian people did actually). The weather is much better and not hot at all, it is so good to move;

Trip to Cafayate tomorrow, a place nearby the mountain, surrounded by vineyards.

>TOTD: For some reason, Salta reminds me of Cusco!
