February 24th 2007 Got to Puerto Iguazu, the town from which you visit the falls, and it was bloody stinkin hot! About 34 degrees and 90%!h(MISSING)umidity! Very uncomfortable on the 1/2 hour bus ride up to the national park gate where we got stuck for about and hour trying to figure out how to get to the Sheraton. We booked the Sheraton before we left cos it was part of a package with tours of the falls etc. Turned out to be pretty poor value but I guess we should have expected that.

The Iguazu Falls are one of the most spectacular things we have ever seen. It is really difficult to epxplain with words the power and buety of the hundreds of falls cascading around the massive basin. Check out the fotos...
