Our final voyage took us into a sub-tropical region in the north to Iguazu National Park. Shaking off a 17 hr bus ride (with bed!) from Buenos Aires (BA) on 16/17 Dec we jumped on a shuttle to the Iguazu Falls and realized that +40 deg weather is friggin HOT!
But visiting the falls was extremely rewarding and allowed us to see an entirely different region within Argentina. This destination is mandatory for most tourists visiting Argentina, and we quickly realized why.
We´ll let the pictures explain the rest...
Our second day in Puerto Iguazu allowed us to lounge around the pool at our hostel inn before we grabbed another daring bus ride back to BA.
We only have one more evening in BA and then it´s up to Air Canada to bring us (and a few bottles of wine) back home the morning of the 21 Dec. Once back in Ottawa, we´ll add one last entry including some of our favourite pics of BA.
Hasta luego amigos/familia!
