Feb 7 – San Salvador de Jujuy

Journée fade aujourd’hui à m’installer au nouveau point de chute, San Salvador de Jujuy, capitale de la province de Jujuy. Auberge bof –mais staff très accueillant et sympa, et ville où franchement, ben y a pas grand chose (qui m'attire). C’est juste pratique pour rayonner plus vers le nord, et j’ai atterri là car tout était plein vers là-haut, carnaval oblige.

On retrouve toujours la place centrale et plein de magasins (fermés jusqu’à 17h environ), rien de bien folichon, désolée pour tous les Jujuyois.

Quand même, petits bégaiements de fête dans une rue avec musiue, jets de 'neige" et de farine

Demain est beaucoup plus excitant, Salinas grandes !

Bland day spent settling in the new ‘base camp’, i.e San Salvador de Jujuy, capital of the province of the same name. Average hostel, despite a welcoming and nice staff. City where there is nothing to do, clearly. This is just to starting point to visit further up in the North more easily. This is the only option I got because everything was booked already in other more typical villages, because of the carnival.

As usual, there is the main plaza and lots of shops (closed until 5pm), nothing exciting, sorry for the fans of Jujuy

To be fair, there was a small animation in a street with music, snow and flour

Tomorrow is more exciting, trip to Salinas Grandes!
