Bonjour à tous Avec presque 6h d'escale à Frankfort, j'ai vraiment trouvé le temps long, j'ai pas mal arpenté les innombrables galeries marchandes. C'est dingue la taille de cet aéroport, surtout d'un seul tenant. Roissy ne fait pas la même impression avec tous ces satellites. Le couloir en photo fait 288m de long c'est dire. L'avion est parti à l'heure, un Boeing 747, je ne savais pas que les compagnies nationales en avait encore en circulation. Ayant volé sur A380, des triple 777, même s'il à été reconditionné il fait figure dinosaure, le bruit, la stabilité dans les turbulence, rien à voir avec les avions récents. La Boca means “the mouth” in Spanish, and is so named because it is situated at the mouth of the Riachuelo river. Originally, La Boca was a shipyard. The world seemed an even bigger place in 1978. The World Cup party that had once rolled down Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough in 1966 was in full swing in Buenos Aires. I watched the television, awe inspired, as a schoolboy. What a place to watch your football. We knew little of the politics of the military junta at the time. Frankly if we had, I doubt we would have cared one iota. I was watching the sky filled with the trademark paper falling down from the stands and a brand of football that we didn't encounter on the playing fields at home. Fin décembre je rentre d'une agence de voyage où je réserve et paye notre petite semaine en Andalousie au mois de janvier (voir blog précédent...) et je reçois un petit message Whatsapp : nous sommes invités au mariage de Cecilia et Patricio, la dernière fille d'une de mes amies de Mar del Plata, le 23 février... La neige n'est pas tombée encore cet hiver et les flocons absents ne se sont pas transformés en billets de banque... mais comme nous les aimons vraiment beaucoup... on fait un effort et on trouve une solution...
