Spring has sprung and Argentina is awash with colour and wildlife! Trish enjoyed watching the birds in Chascomus so we thought we would share some of our beautifl spring photos with you.

Cormorants
There were lots of cormorants on the lake, but look carefully and sat above them on a pole is an eagle.

Roseta Spoonbill
We were cycling alongside the lake when I shouted "Look, flamingoes". Trish told me I was wrong, and she was (as usual) correct. The Roseta Spoonbill can easily be confused with a flamingo from a distance, especially as they are such a vivid pink.

Waders?
Ok, we don't know what these are!

Yellowbelly
Ok, so that's not its real name. If you know, then tell us!

Blossom
All the trees are starting to blossom. It's beautiful but plays havoc with my hay fever!

Brightly Coloured Flowers
There are flowers blooming in almost every colour you can think of.

Ants
Not everyone's cup of tea! I was fascinated by these ants carrying off blossom petals twice their size!

120 km South of BA. It's just off the road to Mar Del Plata.
