Life here is as crazy as ever. My sleeping pattern has completely changed and I can never sleep before 2 or 3am anymore. Today Maria and I got home at 7am and slept until 4pm. Last night we went out for a few drinks, or so was the plan, and ended up at a huge nightclub which was packed so tight you could hardly dance. The nightlife here is unlike anything I have ever witnessed before. There seems to be no such thing as an early night. People don't even go out before midnight and before you know it the sun is coming up. I remember my first night here, when Maria and I went out for dinner. It was 7.30pm. Nothing was even open yet. Jet lagged that I was we walked the streets for an hour and a half before we could get a table.

I am still waiting on my credit card. It has been three weeks now so I hope it comes soon. You have to be so careful with your things. Marias friend had a party three days back and there were around 15 people there. 100 pesos ($35 of so) was taken from Marias bag and my woolen jacket was also taken. I guess that saves lagging it about. Then the next day Maria was talking to Sally on-line. She had just been jogging and it was dusk in what is presumably a safe part of the city in one of the safest cities in South America. Five guys pushed her to the ground, covered her mouth so she couldn't scream, felt her up and took her keys, money and ipod. It is such a constant. I actually freaked out that night about traveling from here on my own. I definitely want to meet people to travel with. I was really afraid and even considered getting on a plane to Canada.

I had my last day volunteering yesterday. I had an amazin time with the kids. Gosh they are cute. By the end of the day I was dizzy and tired from lifting and whizzing kids around for hours. As soon as you put one down, the next one wants up. And how can you resist those big brown pleading eyes. I will miss that place.

There were some Aussies volunteering who told me where the AFL Grand Final will be on tonight, at the sports bar down town. Should be good. Go Collingwood. Now I know most people would want to punch me in the face for saying that so maybe I won't be wearing the colors tonight, actually as I wrote that I think I will. Discretely.

The guys here are really persistent. Annoyingly so. At the birthday party I mentioned earlier was at, we were all dancing salsa and I was being taught some moves. I went to get some drinks with this guy and the next thing I knew he was kissing the side of my mouth. I told him no and that didn't seem to deter him. So, I got cranky, added to by the fact my jacket had been taken which I realised as I tried to leave.
