After Machu Picchu nothing really seemed as "cool" in Cusco. We just went to a museum in town and did a little shopping for Lou. She now has enough clothes to last the trip. There{s just so many things we wish we had from her bag. But that{s behind us now.

After Cusco we headed off to Lima, Peru. Lima is a BIG city and nothing like anything else I had seen in Peru. We stayed at a Hostel in Miraflores. It{s pretty close to the beach and filled with lots of surfers. It was our first Hostel with a kitchen and we had a really cute little patio area to hang on. On the roof we just hung out, drank some beers, and played ping pong! We walked to the beahc nad they had a shopping center there that was like being at home. I felt like I was at Fashion Valley mall but right on the beach front cliffs. VERY NICE. Our second day in Lima we went to a National Museum, shoopped and went sight seeing and had dinner at a little place around the corner. The owner of the hostel told us to ask for Jorge apparently one of the waiters. He was an older, chubby guy and practically tried to make-out with us when we left.

Our first day in Buenos Aires was pretty horrible. Our plane was late. We had gotton up at 4am and there was a 2 hour time difference. We lost the address to our hostel and had no money. So by the time we made it to our hostel we both feel asleep for the rest of the day. Saturday we did a bus tour of the city and we very refreshed. We both would recommend a city tour to anyone coming here. It was really nice to get t alot of the touristy places out of the way and see what we wanted to come back and explore in more depth. Yesterday we went to an antique show in San Telmo and then splurged on dinner and a tango show. It was held at the famous El Viejo Almazen. For $80 dollares US we got a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers, steak dinner, desert, then a hour and a half tango show (AMAZING) and a glasss of wine at the show. It was our only splurge of the trip but well worth it. I took lots of video of the gorgeous dancers. Today we went back to La Boca and run down part of town and in the touristy part shopped and had lunch. Apparently we ate at a place Bill Clinto nate when he was president. They had lots of pictures with him.

So that{s the update. Hope all is well in the states. Love to all. K & L
