Arrived Cologne at 7am. After leisurely breakfast departed for Augustusburg Palace in Bruhl. Palace constructed for Clemens August (1700-1761) prince elector and Archbishop of Cologne. Oppulent Rococo style with the most amazing grand marble staircase as important guests arrived in their coaches.
