Since I was completely unable to secure a train ticket from Changsha to Shanghai, I made the decision to fly. The flight was quite pleasant on a brand-new China Southern airbus. After about 1.5 hours in the air, we arrived in a very rainy Shanghai. So, no improvement in the weather over Liuyang.
