Citadel up close

This is the citadel on top of the fortress, and as you can see, it's huge. Also amazingly intricate with artwork everywhere.

22 million people, a few mosques and a whole lot of smog

Well going back to leaving Alexandria, it went fairly smoothly and I managed to successfully avoid the dodgy eggs they served up for breakfast again (the egg yokes really shouldn't be blackish once cooked right?) and headed to the train station.
