Day 20: After a few kms up the freeway & back due to navigational problems, we found the track which wound past the town's affordable housing - trailer homes most surrounded by junk & wrecked cars. Surprise surprise - we were soon climbing on a rocky steep track which got gnarlier & more technical as we climbed. Rounding a bend Ian & I startled a large herd of Elk who loped away from us.
