Prambanan Temple complex

The largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia, originally built in the 9th century but deteriorated given volcanic eruptions/earthquakes/political shifts, with reconstruction still in progress. Originally there were approx 240 temples in the complex, with only 20 or so of the larger temples rebuilt so far.
