Saying good-bye...

...to the friendly woman, originally from Serbia, who has lived in a tiny apartment down the hall for the past 46 years. I had frequent chats with her, in my broken German (she spoke no English), during our stay. We gave her some chocolate as a parting gift, whereupon she surprised us with a bottle of wine, cookies, and some tangerines!

Odyssey 2018 - We must have died, and come to heaven!

This morning we said our farewells to Vienna, then boarded an Austrian Airlines flight bound for Brussels, Belgium. All went smoothly, from the taxi ride to the airport, to check-in and the security screening.
