The next leg of our journey is to Koh Samui for the famous (in Thailand) New Year’s Eve celebration and full Moon bash. We had prebooked our train ride on line, thank goodness as it was full. The express train from Hua Hin to Sarat Thani is way faster than the normal trains and consists of just 3 2nd class cars. Very nice seats with a meal given to us.
