What a fabulous day! Started the day with a 2 hour bus ride out of Hanoi traffic. We were then able to switch to our bikes for a mainly peaceful 40 km ride through a valley of small ethnic villages supporting intense agriculture. We are Gerry & Ruth, a retired couple living in Brisbane Australia. We have 2 adult sons now on their own travel/work adventures based in London.
