More Typical Ramen ...

... this one was with fatty and tender pork, served in a thinner, yet still fairly rich broth. The pork was so fatty that it basically melted into a tasty oblivion, and surprisingly nice were the bamboo shoots, which lacked that slightly-unpleasant taste and odour that they typically have. The ramen noodles were also a bit thicker than we have been having - the beauty of Ramen Street is that they offer all the major types of ramen found in Japan, which vary in the type of soup, accompaniments, and noodles.
