Day of the Dead ...

... by sheer luck, we happened to be in Central America during the Day of the Dead, when people visit the cemeteries to honour their deceased loved ones. It's a multi-day affair, and didn't seem to be that somber, with loud parties, food, and colourful floral displays. Even a day after, some of the colourful displays remain at the cemetery.
