... kind of an Armenian palinka, we each ordered a shot up and upon finishing, a local family dining at the table next to us offered us some of their homemade stuff. Much like with Romanian palinka, good quality appears to be identified by the "pearls", of which there were many in this shot glass before they dissipated. It must be true, because this was much smoother than the first commercially-produced shot that we tried.
