Ostrich ...

... wow! I've only had ostrich a couple of times prior to arriving in South Africa, and have never been a big fan of it - I am now a convert! So tender and delicious, in a brandy pepper cream sauce that was a wonderful complement to the flavour of the meat, and excellent french fries. The vegetable medley was also great, featuring the tiniest little zucchini you could imagine.
