Look closely at the clouds rolling over the top of the mountain - another tourist told me that the clouds constantly evaporate as they tumble below a certain elevation, maintaining a distinct line where the cloud seemingly never crosses. Hopefully we can see this phenomenon on Table Mountain, which is fitting called the Table Cloth by locals.
