After rendezvousing with Benny, Ann & Joe at Gatwick Airport, we checked in and went through Customs and boarded our flight. The fight was quite scenic as we flew over the South East of England, seeing the white cliffs of Dover in the distance and then some wind farms just off the English coast. Delighted to see that you overcame the barriers imposed by Ryan*******Air and had a good flight with EasyJet (we've found them quite good). Looking forward to hearing about Carcassonne - those French old walled towns really are quite something. Guess you'll be exploring the wonderful world of French fixed price menus over the couple of days before you hit the canal - and there is also all that wine to explore. Have a great time!
