The north side of Hong Kong island is a new city with mainly high-rise building. District are called Central, Sheung wan and Soho. It has a little feel of NYC but doesn't have the same charisma. This is very obvious when you get to see it from above. I went on top of Victoria peak (using the cabled tram, I'm lazy) and there is no building that you can recognise.
