After the majesty of Dubrovnik and Kotor, Split was a slight comedown. The old town was still impressive, but there wasn't much else to it apart from being a good base to reach other points of interest. Hi everyone! Hee hee Katy was probably kidding when she said I should start a travel blog but here I am! It may be a bit self-indulgent, but without Instagram or any other social media this seems like the best way to share my adventures and experiences with family and friends without you having to look at boring pictures of my breakfast and suchlike every single day, and to keep a record for myself too.
