The Karoo

Hours after hours after hours. Endless arid scrubland - the Karoo. It covers a huge area of western South Africa between Bloemfontein and Worcester. As we got closer to Worcester the flatness of the Karoo ended and small rollign hills turned grew in size until we were driving through valleys. Valleys full of vinyards, lush and green, invitingly beautiful.

As we rushed down from Gaborone to celebrate New Years Eve in Cape Town, we had been arrested by Karma police a mere hours drive before the big city in the small town of Worcester - and sentenced to a 10-day meditation course.
