The magnificent rain forest of Sumatra
July 21st 2017 When we arrived at the North Sumatra airport, it was 40 degrees celsius. I thought it would be unbearable but you get used to it. Anyway thankfully my mum had booked a taxi and after 5 hours he brought us all the way to a gate where a huge statue of an orangutan stood with a huge signpost where "Bukit Lawang" was written.
