We sailed through the Straights of Magellan to reach Punta Arenas for 2 pm and it was a murky day so not much to see. From there we headed to Ushuaia with the morning cruising through Glacier Alley. Recently retired from teaching with 40 years experience in many different areas including working in SE Asia and Japan. In my 20s and 30s I backpacked in between posts in Canada, Australia and SE Asia & China.
