A bit late - woops - final post from the subarctic July 21st 2017 What a trip! The belugas were out in the hundreds and the polar bears came out twice to say hello. Overall, an excellent trip. On the final day we had a torrential downpour and we spent the day in town. The museum is small but packed with interesting artifacts, including the narwhal horn which you'll see in the pics. Just a regular woman out to see the world and experience as much of it as possible. My personal philosophy is to drink every last drop out of the cup of life. I travel cheap, easy, and with respect for locals. I have a big list of places to see and things to do. My current goal is to reach fifty countries and have memorable experiences there, by the time I turn 50.
