Suzanne here... It was a long flight to Quito. Mainly because the cheapest flight involved flying right over Ecuador and all the way to Panama. Doubly annoying as we've wanted to go to Panama for ages, but there was no time to leave the airport. We did however get a glimpse of Panama City and the Panama Canal from the air.
