We finally have our beach-hunting skills honed to perfection! On both Ko Samui and later on Ko Pha Ngan, we found delightful areas with at least a little village atmosphere squeezed in amongst the tourism. Pip and Jess are from New Zealand and are embarking on their Big O.E.(OOOOOO!!!) Their trip Begins when they land in Singapore on the 29th of December 2006, they then will begin a 3 and 1/2 month trip over SE Asia-Singapore- malaysia-Brunei-Thailand-Cambodia. However their trip does not end as they arrive just in time for Spring in London on the 11th of April.
