December AT Trip
February 27th 2007 On Dec 29-31, I was able to take a short backpacking trip along the Appalachian Trail down near Roanoke. I went with a friend from home and UVA, Tommy, and a couple of his friends. We visited the Dragons Tooth, McAfee Knob, and Tinker Cliffs. Luckily, we missed Tinker Creek, the setting for Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, quite possibly the worst book ever written.
