Today was a road trip through the Lakes district and a run down the Rio Fuy. The drive was about 2 hours long (each way), but well worth it. Especially the side shows! Adventures in Chile, maybe beyond! These pix and tales are from a two+ week trip to the Lakes District in Chile, this February. Along with 8 other folks, I had a blast in a kayak school conducted by the unmatched Long Family of Cascade Raft and Kayak School, Payette, Idaho. (www.cascaderaft.com). Lots of us SoCal boaters know the extended Long family and have taken other instruction with them in Idaho and near Kernville, CA, thus the level of familiarity.
