After three rainy cloudy days we woke up to warm sunny weather. We haven't had too many of these this trip. The good news is that all the locks are now open but it was too miserable a day to lock through yesterday. There were four of us locking through this morning so it was tight but doable. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada.
