On the move again June 7th 2017 After three rainy cloudy days we woke up to warm sunny weather. We haven't had too many of these this trip. The good news is that all the locks are now open but it was too miserable a day to lock through yesterday.
There were four of us locking through this morning so it was tight but doable. The current is quite strong at places but the water us nice and deep.

We are newly retired and ready to cruise!
Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada. We hope to join cruising regattas organized by the Lewisporte Yacht Club members as they explore the Bay of Exploits, some of the best northern cruising grounds.
