Waiting at Lock 45 May 26th 2017 After a very comfortable night at anchor, we are now tied to the blue line at the lower end of Port Severn lock. Our furnace and inverter is working so all systems go.

We are newly retired and ready to cruise!
Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada. We hope to join cruising regattas organized by the Lewisporte Yacht Club members as they explore the Bay of Exploits, some of the best northern cruising grounds.
